Job Description
Position Title: Regional HR Head
Bigbasket is creating milestones in the online grocery market and has recently
re-hauled its supply chains across cities to fulfil a majority of customer
orders faster. The company’s operations have expanded to 70+ cities in India,
recording about 15+ million customer orders per month.
The bigbasket team is a very talented, high calibre, multi-cultural group of
individuals who are working towards a common goal of elevating the experience
at bigbasket for internal employees and external candidates. The team is built

Key Responsibilities:
The Regional HR Head will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions
within the designated region of operations for our bigbasket. This role
involves strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations,
performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with
relevant employment laws and regulations.

Strategic HR Planning:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall
objectives and growth plans.

Talent Acquisition:
Lead the recruitment process for the region, including sourcing, screening,
interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure timely and effective recruitment.

Employee Relations:
Foster positive employee relations by addressing grievances, conflicts, and
disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner. Implement strategies to
enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee
performance, provide feedback, and support professional development. Conduct
regular performance evaluations and facilitate goal-setting processes.

Training and Development:
Identify training needs within the region and coordinate training programs
to enhance employee skills and competencies. Support career development
initiatives and succession planning efforts.

HR Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and
company policies. Stay updated on legal developments and industry best
practices to mitigate risks and maintain a positive work environment.

HR Metrics and Reporting:
Collect and analyze HR data to track key metrics such as turnover rates,
employee satisfaction, and workforce demographics. Prepare reports and
presentations for senior management to inform decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and
initiatives. Act as a strategic partner to business leaders in driving
organizational effectiveness and performance.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

12+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the Ecommerce,
Retail, FMCG, Logistics or SCM industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop
a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing
priorities.
