Sr Executive Procurement Packaging

Role Purpose

The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for Home Care and Personal Care categories , ensuring optimal cost, quality, service levels, and compliance in line with Reliance’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Manage end-to-end procurement for Home Care & Personal Care products (e.g., detergents, cleaners, hygiene products, personal grooming, skin & hair care).

• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop suppliers to ensure reliability, scalability, and competitiveness.

• Drive cost optimization initiatives through negotiations, alternate sourcing, and value engineering.

Procurement Operations

• Execute purchase orders, contracts, and rate agreements in line with demand plans and budgets.

• Monitor supplier performance on price, quality, delivery, and service levels .

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align procurement with business demand.

• Support new product introductions (NPIs), private label development, and promotional requirements.

Market & Cost Intelligence

• Track market trends, raw material price movements, and supplier landscape in the Home & Personal Care segment.

• Benchmark costs and recommend sourcing strategies to stay competitive.

Risk & Compliance

• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans.

• Ensure vendor compliance with quality, regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards .
