Assistant Manager – Project Sales
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Project Sales is responsible for driving sales growth
through project-based business opportunities, building relationships with
architects, consultants, contractors, builders, developers, and key
decision-makers. The role involves identifying new projects, managing the
sales pipeline, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction
throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Identify and develop new project sales opportunities within assigned
territories.

Generate leads through architects, consultants, contractors, builders, and
developers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders involved in
project procurement and execution.

Track upcoming projects and participate in tendering and bidding processes
where applicable.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Account Management

Manage existing project accounts and strengthen customer relationships.

Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts within company
guidelines.

Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and orders.
Project Coordination

Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, operations, supply
chain, and finance to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress and resolve customer issues promptly.

Ensure timely delivery of products/services according to project
requirements.
Market Intelligence

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Gather customer feedback and provide insights to management.

Identify opportunities for new business expansion and market penetration.
Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and project pipelines in CRM
systems.

Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and progress updates for management.

Monitor receivables and support collections from project customers.
