About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Accounts to oversee the company's accounting operations, banking activities, treasury management, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry with strong expertise in Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), banking liaisoning, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Handle Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), term loans, and other banking facilities.
• Liaise with banks for credit limit renewals, documentation, and day-to-day banking operations.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow statements.
• Plan and manage working capital requirements.
• Oversee General Ledger (GL), journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
• Ensure timely processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
• Monitor bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, consultants, and government authorities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts team.
• Continuously improve accounting processes and internal financial controls.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), and Banking Operations.
• Experience in Bank Liaisoning with financial institutions.
• Expertise in Cash Flow Management and Working Capital Planning.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and Finalization of Accounts.
• Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in audit coordination and financial controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally ERP, etc.).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 8–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical companies is highly preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to CC/OD management, banking liaisoning, and cash flow planning is mandatory.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 30 days will be preferred.
