Job Description
Job Purpose
To ensure compliance of all extant guidelines of RBI/FEDAI, etc. for cross
border transactions of Treasury line of business.
Key Responsibilities

To prepare and submit application to RBI/ Authorized Dealer (AD) Bank
approval
- To obtain EDF Approval / Waiver from AD Bank / RBI
-
To process remittances for overseas direct investments (ODI) and reporting
of corporate guarantees to AD Banks/RBI
-
To prepare and submit periodical returns – Annual Performance Return (APR),
Annual Return on Foreign Liabilities and Assets (FLA) to both AD Banks and
RBI within stipulated timelines
- To report foreign direct investment (FDI) to AD Bank / RBI
- To file Form ECB for new loans

To prepare and submit Form ECB2 with the AD Banks within the RBIs timelines.
- To interact with AD Banks for RBI EDPMS and IDPMS closures

To co-ordinate and work closely with Risk, Audit teams on resolution and
closure of FEMA compliance issues.

To prepare compliance reports for onward submission to Senior Management and
Group Financial Risk Committee (GFRC)
Key Performance Indicators
Primary KPIs
- Timely submission of returns to AD Bank / RBI
- Closure of entries in IDPMS/EDPMS
- Timely renewal of approvals
- Timely reporting of corporate guarantees (ODI)
Additional KPIs
- To meet all compliance requirements of AD Banks

To meet compliance requirements of Central Treasury, Companies Act from RBI
& SEBI perspective
Job Requirements
Functional Competencies
- Basic Knowledge of RBI FEMA rules/ regulations/ guidelines

Basis knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, URR, INCOTERMS, International trade
practice, international trade finance.

Reasonable Knowledge of Accounting Principles, Indirect taxes, EXIM
processes etc.
- Basic commercial/Legal knowledge
