Role Overview
The
Total Rewards role
will support the design, governance, and execution of BGRE’s total rewards
strategy in India. The role is responsible for ensuring the company’s
compensation, benefits, and HR policy frameworks are competitive, equitable,
and aligned with organizational objectives and global standards.
This position will act as a strategic advisor to HR leadership on all
matters related to compensation, benefits, job evaluation and policies.
The incumbent will also drive data-led decision-making through analytics
and benchmarking to reinforce a high-performance culture across the
organization
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Rewards Strategy

Design and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with
business objectives and market competitiveness.

Conduct compensation benchmarking and participate in salary surveys to
maintain internal equity and external parity.

Lead annual compensation planning, including merit cycles, pay structures,
and incentive programs.

Develop and oversee short-term and long-term incentive plans, ensuring
linkage to performance outcomes and organizational goals.

Lead and anchor annual manpower budgeting exercise and tracking of annual
budgets with controls.

Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team with the appropriate data
and controls for offers.
Job Evaluation & Grading

Establish and maintain a job evaluation and grading framework to ensure
consistency, transparency, and fairness in role alignment.

Conduct role reviews to maintain alignment between job responsibilities
and compensation levels.
Benefits & Employee Retention

Oversee the design of employee benefits programs, including insurance,
wellness, and retirement benefits.

Evaluate and recommend enhancements to improve employee engagement and
retention.
HR Policy Design

Lead the formulation, review, and governance of HR policies and
procedures, ensuring alignment with local legislation and global HR
frameworks.

Lead HR policy communication.

Support the HR Operations team to ensure compliance with labour laws, tax
regulations, and compensation disclosure requirements.
HR Analytics & Reporting

Drive the use of
data and analytics
to provide insights on pay equity, workforce cost trends, and reward
effectiveness.

Prepare reports and dashboards for management reviews and board
submissions.
Skills, Education & Experience
-
Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a
related discipline.

Specializing in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Policy
design.

Proven experience in designing and implementing global or large-scale
compensation frameworks.

Strong exposure to benchmarking, job evaluation methodologies (e.g.,
Mercer, Hay, Willis Towers Watson).

Experience in policy design and governance, particularly in complex or
matrixed organizations.

Knowledge of HR systems (preferably Workday) and reporting tools.

Strong understanding of equity programs and executive compensation.

Strong business acumen and the ability to partner with HR leaders on
compensation decisions.

Skilled in change management, with a track record of driving compensation
and policy transformations.

Experience managing rewards communication and stakeholder engagement
across diverse employee groups.
