Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience : 8 years in the fastener manufacturing or heavy metal forming industry, with proven supervisory or managerial experience.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:-

He will be part of technical team in designing, optimizing, and scaling production methods like cold/hot forging, thread rolling, and heat treatment. Process Engineering team focuses on reducing scrap, eliminating bottlenecks, and ensuring high-volume, cost-effective output that meets the customer quality standards.

· Process Design & Optimization : Develop, configure, and optimize the manufacturing processes for both standard and custom industrial fasteners (bolts, nuts, screws, and washers).

· Manufacturing Techniques : Oversee core fastener production workflows, including wire drawing, cold/hot forging, thread rolling, machining, heat treatment, and surface coating/plating (e.g., Geomet, Zinc, Phosphate).

· Continuous Improvement : Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and FMEA methodologies to minimize material waste, decrease setup times, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

· Tooling & Equipment Management : Direct the design or procurement of tooling, dies, and new machinery. Justify capital expenditure for equipment upgrades and automation.

· Quality & Compliance : Partner with quality teams to implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for any defects, ensuring strict adherence to standards like ISO, IATF, and DIN/ASTM specification

Competencies (Functional / Behavioural)

Essential Functional Requirement                             

· Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of metallurgy, mechanical/chemical testing methods, GD&T, and customer specifications.

· Software Proficiency : Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD),

process simulation tools, and ERP systems.

Essential Behavioral Competence Requirements

· People Management.

· Problem-solving and decision-making.

· Strong execution focus and result orientation.
