Job Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) will provide
strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the company. This
role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, expanding market
share, and maximizing shareholder value. The ideal candidate will oversee
all business operations, lead manufacturing excellence, optimize supply
chain networks, and cultivate high-level relationships with institutional
clients, distributors, and regulatory bodies within the building materials
sector.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance

Develop and execute the company’s long-term business strategy, vision,
and commercial goals in alignment with the Board of Directors.

Provide executive oversight for corporate governance, risk management,
and regulatory compliance across all manufacturing plants and corporate
offices.

Evaluate and execute strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and mergers
and acquisitions (M&A) to expand the company's product portfolio and
geographic footprint.
Operational & Manufacturing Excellence

Oversee multi-location manufacturing facilities to ensure optimal
capacity utilization, cost efficiency, and strict adherence to
environmental and safety standards.

Drive operational efficiency through the adoption of automation,
Industry 4.0 practices, and lean manufacturing methodologies.

Ensure robust supply chain management, optimizing the procurement of raw
materials, logistics, and distribution networks.
Commercial & Market Expansion

Steer the sales, marketing, and distribution strategies to strengthen
the brand's presence across retail (B2C) and institutional (B2B)
segments.

Identify emerging market trends, real estate shifts, and infrastructure
developments to position the company’s product lines proactively.

Maintain and leverage a vast network of relationships with large-scale
developers, contractors, architects, and channel partners.
Financial Performance & Capital Management

Hold full P&L accountability, ensuring the company meets or exceeds
budgetary targets, revenue goals, and profitability margins.

Direct financial planning, capital expenditure (CapEx) allocations for
plant expansions or modernization, and working capital optimization.

Present comprehensive quarterly and annual financial performance reports
and strategic updates to the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
Innovation & Sustainability

Champion Research and Development (R&D) initiatives to introduce
eco-friendly, sustainable, and value-added building materials.

Lead corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives,
focus on reducing carbon footprints, and implement green manufacturing
practices.
People & Culture Leadership

Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing executive leadership team.

Foster a performance-driven corporate culture centered on safety,
innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related
field. An MBA from a premier business school is highly preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 18–27 years of professional experience, with at least 10–12
years in a P&L-heading role (such as CEO, MD, COO, or President)
specifically within the building materials, manufacturing, infrastructure,
or allied industries.
Track Record
Proven success in scaling business operations, managing complex supply
chains, leading large workforces, and delivering consistent financial
growth.
