Ceramic Fibre Yarn Spinning Line — Line-in-Charge / Commissioning Head

Engagement	Full-time role, OR 12–18 month commissioning consultant on retainer + completion bonus (see below)

MANDATE

Set up and commission a new captive ceramic fibre yarn spinning line (merchant sales to follow), then run it to consistent commercial output.

THE MANDATE

We are setting up a ceramic fibre yarn spinning line — captive first, merchant later. We need someone who can take the line from bare floor to consistent commercial output, and then run it on an ongoing basis.

MUST-HAVE CRITERIA

• 8+ years running carding and spinning of ceramic fibre, RCF, bio-soluble (AES) fibre, or asbestos textile yarn. Cotton, synthetic, wool or jute spinning experience does not qualify.
• Direct line accountability for output, yield and quality — not a QC or supervisory-only role.
• Hands-on command of card settings and clothing wear on abrasive fibre.
• Hands-on command of binder/oil emulsion formulation and add-on.
• Hands-on command of glass filament or wire core insertion and tension.
• Hands-on command of twist and ply, and yield accounting.
• Willing to relocate to Howrah with family.

PREFERRED

• Has commissioned a line from bare floor, not only operated an existing one.
• Has worked with Chinese-origin machinery and its commissioning engineers.
• Has run AES as well as RCF.
• Has supplied yarn to braiding operations.
