Currently we are looking out Professionals for Our Prestigious Client for the position of,

Position- Regional Logistics Head-LMD

Location- Pune

Job Responsibilities-

● Strategize and plan regional Last Mile Delivery operations aligned with business goals, ensuring timely hiring and deployment of Delivery Executives.

● Own end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and training SOPs for Delivery Executives through effective field hiring and vendor collaboration.

● Design cost-effective models for scaling delivery operations and manage performance tracking against business metrics.

● Drive operational excellence by improving systems, processes and internal workflows to support scalability, transparency and reporting.

● Lead regional people management, including target setting, performance management and career planning for your team.

● Collaborate with transport and 3PL teams to ensure timely van and bike deployment aligned with weekly/monthly capacity plans.

● Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HR, Compliance, Finance, etc.) and external vendors for seamless execution of delivery operations.

Experience-

● Graduate/Postgraduate in relevant field with 8+ years of experience in last mile logistics, preferably in the e-commerce, retail or grocery sector.

● Strong understanding of Last Mile Delivery operations, preferably in the e-commerce, retail or grocery segment.

● Hands-on experience in recruitment via field hiring and 3PL/manpower vendors at a regional scale.

● Proven experience in deploying bikes and vans for last-mile delivery, including capacity planning and cost management.

● Ability to negotiate and manage transportation vendors/suppliers for B2C last mile deliveries.

● Track record of managing transportation operations within budget, while maintaining high operationalefficiency.

● Strong communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.

● A data-driven, process-oriented mindset with the ability to drive results under pressure
