About the Role
You are the architect of our brand and product strategy. As Product &
Marketing
Growth (PMG) Lead, you'll shepherd our furniture fittings portfolio
from a nascent
state into a recognized, preferred brand. You wll own product development,
brand
positioning, marketing campaigns, customer insights, and go-to-market
strategy. This
is a 0-to-1 role where you'll define what CenturyPly Furniture
Fittings stands for and
how customers perceive us.
Why This Matters
CenturyPly has massive brand equity in plywood and decorative products. Your
job
is to leverage that equity, extend it thoughtfully into furniture fittings,
and build a
distinctive position
Your Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy: Define which furniture fittings categories to
prioritize initially,
where to expand later, and how to sequence launches. Decide on SKU
rationalization and product variants (finishes, sizes, etc.).
Product Development: Work with Sourcing and Technical teams to develop
new products or customize existing sourced products to meet market needs.
Manage product trials, testing, and launch readiness.
Brand Positioning: Define CenturyPly Furniture Fittings' brand
identity, value
proposition, and positioning versus competitors. Create brand guidelines and
messaging frameworks.
Market Research: Conduct customer research (interior designers,
architects,
retailers, OEM partners, end consumers) to understand needs, preferences,
and willingness to pay.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Define distribution channels (direct sales,
retailers,
distributors, e-commerce), customer segments, and launch timelines.
Pricing & Promotions: Collaborate with Pricing Lead on
promotional
strategies, bundle offers, and customer acquisition initiatives.
Analytics & Feedback: Track product performance, customer
feedback,
market trends, and competitive activity. Use data to drive product and
marketing decisions.
Process & Systems: Implement customer relationship management
(CRM)
tools, marketing automation, and analytics platforms to track performance.
What You'll Need
Experience:
8-12 years in product management, marketing, or business development roles
in B2B or manufacturing sectors
Proven experience launching new products or entering new markets
Background in furniture, home décor, hardware, or adjacent industries
preferred
Experience with customer segmentation, market research, and competitive
analysis
Skills:
Strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term brand building with
short-
term sales targets
Data-driven decision making (comfort with analytics, dashboards, KPIs)
Marketing acumen (digital marketing, campaigns, brand management)
Excellent communication and ability to present to senior leadership
Entrepreneurial mindset—comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
