Lab Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support our team in conducting practical examinations and experiments. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of board exam practicals, enhancing student learning experiences and maintaining high standards of quality within our laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing laboratory materials and equipment for board exam practicals, ensuring all resources are organized and readily available.
Conduct experiments under the guidance of instructors, adhering to safety protocols and laboratory standards.
Collect, record, and analyze data from practicals, ensuring accuracy and reliability in results.
Support students during practical examinations by providing assistance and clarifications, fostering a conducive learning environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab space, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management of lab supplies and equipment, including ordering and replenishing stock as necessary.
Participate in lab meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new methodologies and technologies in the field.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry) is preferred.
Previous experience as a Lab Assistant or in a similar role, particularly with practical examinations.
Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Proficient in using laboratory equipment and technology.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to support and interact with students.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
