Assistant Category Manager

Role Summary: • Responsible for sales and improving customer experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Continuously refine assortment – existing and new products
• Ensure availability of stocks at stores at all points of time, with inventory under check
• Build relationships with vendors to increase sales and profitability
(Margins/Credit/Returns/RTV/Promotions/Visibility/Promoters)
• Drive display changes at store as and when required
• Help stores in closing Customer Orders, for stock/price changes, if required
• Competition Benchmarking

Competencies and Abilities Required:

● Analytical skills with high degree of comfort with Excel for decision making on day-to-
day basis. Excel test will also be required to check the skill.

● Potential to collaborate with store teams & cross-functions to achieve deliverables for
the category.
● Is fungible and has the capability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges.
● Should have used MS Word, Power Point at work.
