Designation- Installation Head

Business: MRS / FRD   

Deputation Location: Motinagar, New Delhi 

Report To: Business Head – MRS & Furniture 

Role Objective 

The Manager – Installation will lead and manage end-to-end installation operations across Furniture and MRS businesses , ensuring seamless execution aligned with project timelines, customer expectations, and profitability goals. The role is responsible for driving installation excellence, contractor governance, AMC operations, logistics coordination, and customer satisfaction while ensuring strong collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, and Project stakeholders. 

Key Result Areas (KRAs) 

1. Project Management 

• Drive installation execution excellence across projects through effective process, people, and performance management 
• Ensure alignment between planning, dispatch, logistics, and site installation schedules 
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to delivery commitments 
• Lead site readiness coordination and installation closure timelines 

2. Team Management 

• Ensure availability of installation teams and contractors across regions 
• Drive capability building through training, calibration, and certification 
• Monitor team productivity and performance benchmarks 
• Strengthen deployment planning based on project pipeline. 

3. Complaint Management 

• Oversee resolution of installation-related complaints within defined timelines 
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for closure of service gaps 
• Improve customer experience through proactive escalation handling 

4. Customer Satisfaction & Experience 

• Ensure superior installation quality and service delivery standards 
• Drive customer delight through structured execution monitoring 
• Strengthen handover processes and closure documentation 

5. Order-wise Planning & Logistics 

• Coordinate with plant and sourcing teams for supply readiness 
• Manage logistics planning aligned with site installation schedules 
• Ensure timely availability of material at installation sites 

6. OTIF (On Time In Full) Delivery 

• Ensure adherence to delivery commitments from plant to installation handover 
• Monitor execution timelines across supply, installation, and project closure 
• Support payment collection coordination wherever applicable 

7. Contract Management & Governance 

• Ensure contractor availability across geographies 
• Manage contractor onboarding, calibration, and certification processes 
• Track contractor performance and service quality metrics 
• Drive governance frameworks for installation partners 

8. Relationship Management with PMCs 

• Build and maintain strong engagement with Project Management Consultants (PMCs) 
• Ensure smooth coordination between execution stakeholders 
• Support resolution of project execution challenges 

9. AMC Business Operations 

• Drive AMC service execution across Furniture and MRS businesses 
• Ensure achievement of AMC revenue and profitability targets 
• Maintain service level agreements and response timelines 

10. Revenue & Profitability Responsibility 

• Support achievement of overall installation-linked revenue targets 
• Improve installation efficiency and cost optimization 
• Strengthen contribution margins through execution excellence 

Support Responsibilities 

1. Strategy & Planning 

• Contribute to installation strategy aligned with business expansion plans 
• Support preparation of AOPs and execution roadmaps 

2. Sales Enablement 

• Provide installation feasibility inputs during project finalization 
• Support closure of commercial terms and execution commitments 
• Assist in site readiness planning with Sales teams 

3. Site-Based Execution Support 

• Ensure coordination between plant, logistics, and installation teams 
• Provide execution oversight at critical project sites 

4. Complaint Resolution Support 

• Strengthen closure mechanisms for customer complaints 
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops 

5. Business Review & Governance 

• Participate in periodic business reviews 
• Track installation KPIs and performance dashboards 
• Implement governance mechanisms for execution excellence

Preferred Candidate Profile 

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering / Operations / Project Management / Supply Chain 
• 12–18 years of experience in installation/project execution/service operations 
• Experience in Furniture, Building Materials, Interiors, Construction, or Infra execution environments 
• Strong exposure to contractor management, logistics coordination, and site execution 
• Proven leadership capability managing multi-location execution teams
