About the role

Business Development Associate
Location: Noida (On-site)
Reports to: Business Development Lead
We're looking for hunters. Build the pipeline, run the pitch, close the deal. Acquire new sellers and brands for our
Paid Account Management service — and own the front line of our growth story.
New Trends Commerce Private Limited is a Poddar Group Company with Amazon Investment. Our vision is to be
the most trusted go-to-market partner for the businesses, empowering them to establish and grow their digital
ventures efficiently and cost-effectively. We achieve this through a customer-focused approach, sales expertise,
high-performance culture, and tech-powered sales strategies. We provide comprehensive go-to-market solutions
tailored to each client's needs, covering everything from identifying the right target customer segments and
developing data-driven sales strategies, offering sales training, implementing sales automation, executing on the
ground, and ensuring client retention.
To achieve our vision, we hire and develop the best talent through our rigorous hiring & talent management
mechanisms which is anchored in our Leadership Principles. Our teams focus on inventing & reinventing for
customers (clients & their customers) and simplify the execution. While executing we focus on the key inputs of
the business and deliver them with the right quality and at speed.
We are seeking a Business Development Associate with a true hunter mindset — someone who owns the top of
the funnel, breaks into cold accounts with confidence, and moves prospects to closure at speed. This is a pure
acquisition role for our Paid Account Management vertical. Personal closure numbers are the currency here.
Responsibilities-
1. Hunt and close 5 new seller/brand acquisitions every week — carrying weekly, monthly, and yearly
targets for our Paid Account Management service
2. Build and continuously refresh a high-intent prospect pipeline through market mapping, LinkedIn,
industry lists, referrals, and marketplace research
3. Run disciplined daily outreach — cold calls, LinkedIn InMail's, WhatsApp, emailers, and occasional field
visits — to open qualified conversations
4. Break through to founders, category heads, and e-commerce managers with sharp, tailored pitches that
convert
5. Build proposals, negotiate commercials, and close deals with pace and rigor
6. Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene — every lead, activity, next step, and stage movement logged daily
7. Coordinate a clean handover to the Account Management team post-signing, including KYC, contracting,
and kick-off scheduling
8. Track win/loss patterns and feed insights back to leadership on pricing, positioning, and competitive gaps
Basic qualifications
1. 2–4 years of B2B sales or business development experience at an e-commerce agency, SaaS company, or
marketplace acquisition team — with a personal closure track record against weekly or monthly targets
2. Bachelor's degree
3. Demonstrated track record of high-volume cold outreach and consistent target achievement — a genuine
hunter
4. Proven ability to open conversations from a cold start and drive them to closure across calls, digital
channels, and in-person meetings

5. Deep understanding of India's leading e-commerce marketplaces — how sellers operate, what metrics
move growth (GMV, ads efficiency, account health, buy box, catalog quality), and the common pain points
brands face on these platforms
6. Comfortable using everyday AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) in daily workflow — a genuine
willingness to apply AI to speed up prospecting, personalization, and pipeline management
