At Hunger Inc., we believe that great service is something you build, not just hire for. As F&B Trainer, you'll be right at the heart of building service excellence across all our brands. You'll design training content, deliver sessions on the floor, and follow through to make sure the learning actually shows up in every guest interaction.
Your focus will be on service standards, service behaviours, and product knowledge across The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Bombay Sweet Shop, Veronica's, Papa's, and Enthucutlet. This is a fully on-ground role — you'll be moving across our outlets regularly, observing, coaching, and supporting teams to show up at their best, every shift.
Hunger Inc. is home to The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Bombay Sweet Shop, Veronica's, Papa's, and Enthucutlet. Across all our brands, we believe the guest experience is only as strong as the people delivering it. Training is not an afterthought here; it is how we protect and grow the standards we have built.
You're someone with 1-4 years of experience in F&B, hospitality, or a training role within a service-driven environment. You are TTT (Train the Trainer) certified or have completed formal trainer training; this matters to us.
You understand what great service looks like and can break it down simply enough to teach it. You're comfortable on the floor, giving feedback in the moment and building genuine rapport with frontline staff. You can design a training module and deliver it with equal confidence, and you adapt your style depending on who's in the room — whether it's a new joiner at BSS or a senior captain at The Bombay Canteen.
You're organised, follow through on what you commit to, and take pride in the small things: how a greeting sounds, how a dish is described, how a complaint is handled.
You'll work closely with the People and Culture team, outlet managers, and department heads across all Hunger Inc. brands. You'll collaborate with the operations teams at Bombay Sweet Shop and our restaurants to stay aligned on where training is needed most.
You'll report directly to the Sr. Manager, Learning and Capability Building, and work as part of the broader People team at Hunger Inc.
Designing and delivering training programmes covering service standards, service behaviours, and product knowledge across all Hunger Inc. brands.
Conducting induction and onboarding training for new joiners at both BSS cafes and restaurants, ensuring they are guest-ready before they hit the floor.
Visiting outlets regularly to observe service in action, identify gaps, and deliver on-the-spot coaching to frontline teams.
Building and maintaining training content: SOPs, product knowledge guides, role play scripts, and assessment tools, keeping them updated as menus and standards evolve.
Running structured training sessions using a mix of formats: classroom, floor-based, role plays, and LMS.
Tracking training completion and assessing effectiveness through observation, audits, and feedback from managers.
Supporting mystery audit and service audit processes by helping teams understand findings and improve.
Working with outlet managers and the People and Culture team to identify ongoing training needs and prioritise accordingly.
Contributing to building a culture where learning is normal and continuous, not just something that happens at induction.
1-4 years of experience in F&B, hospitality, or a training role in a service-driven environment.
TTT certification or equivalent formal trainer training.
A genuine understanding of guest-facing service and the ability to teach it practically.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple outlets and training schedules simultaneously.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and comfort working with LMS platforms.
Fluent communication in English and Hindi, both written and verbal.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently on the ground.
A role with real variety; no two days or outlets are the same.
The chance to directly shape how guests experience some of India's most loved restaurant and cafe brands.
A team that genuinely values learning and gives you the support to build programmes that work.
Room to grow; as the training function at Hunger Inc. develops, so will this role.
