Café Manager

Job Summary:

At Bombay Sweet Shop, we’re redefining mithai by blending traditional flavors with a contemporary twist. As a Café Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant café, ensuring smooth service and a fantastic customer experience while managing a dedicated team. Location: Bandra, Borivali, Kala Ghoda

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the café team to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency.
Oversee daily operations, manage stock levels, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the café.
Deliver exceptional customer service by setting an example and addressing inquiries or complaints swiftly.
Maintain accurate financial records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses.
Innovate seasonal menus and beverage offerings that reflect customer preferences and current trends.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout all operations.
Collaborate with the Head of Operations to streamline processes and build long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment, focusing on customer service and operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and train a diverse team.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, along with proficiency in using POS systems.
Flexibility to work shifts according to the café's operating hours.
Pre-opening experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in menu development and innovation.
Strong understanding of the local food and beverage trends.
Proven track record of improving customer experience and operational processes.
