About the role

Must-Have Skill Set

Java 8+/11+, Spring Boot, Microservices
REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA
ReactJS or Angular
AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, IAM)
SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB/DynamoDB)
Git and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines
Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration
Kafka or other messaging platforms
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for engaging banking and technology stakeholders

Good-to-Have Skill Set

AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate)
Experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs
Banking or Financial Services industry experience
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Exposure to serverless architecture patterns and event-driven design
Familiarity with enterprise API gateway and security integration patterns

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master's degree is a plus)
Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and DevOps practices.
5–7 years of hands-on Full Stack Java development experience, including strong AWS cloud services and enterprise application development

Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced financial services environment
Able to work collaboratively across cross-functional, self-organized teams

Able to iterate based on code reviews, peer feedback, and evolving requirements
