Associate / Senior Associate – Accounts Payable (AP)
Job Summary:
We are seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Payable professionals to support end-to-end AP operations. The role involves invoice processing, payment management, exception handling, vendor coordination, reconciliations, audit support, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, ERP system experience, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process PO and Non-PO invoices accurately and within defined timelines.
- Manage invoice validation, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
- Review and process payment batches while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Handle AP-related queries and provide timely resolution to stakeholders and vendors.
- Maintain AP records, documentation, and supporting files.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment exceptions, and vendor issues.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, business teams, and vendors to resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 2–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable operations.
- Strong understanding of AP processes, accounting principles, and financial controls.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Coupa, or similar platforms.
- Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills.
- Good analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of audit and compliance requirements related to AP processes.
