About the role

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AVP – Data Delivery Manager / Data Architect to lead large-scale enterprise Data & AI transformation programs. This role requires a strategic leader who can seamlessly combine Client Engagement, Delivery Management, Solution Architecture, and Data Modernization expertise while driving business value across complex data initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Informatica, Netezza, Databricks, Cloud Data Platforms, Analytics, AI, and Enterprise Data Architecture , along with a proven track record of managing large delivery teams, driving modernization programs, and building strong executive-level client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Data Delivery Leadership

Own and lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Data & AI transformation programs across onshore and offshore teams.
Manage project scope, budgets, resource planning, delivery quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Establish delivery governance frameworks, KPIs, operational excellence standards, and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Lead business discovery sessions, assessment workshops, and transformation roadmap creation.
Manage program risks, escalations, dependencies, and communication across multiple stakeholders.
Align technology solutions with strategic business objectives and outcomes.

Solution Architecture & Data Strategy

Define enterprise data strategy, target-state architecture, and modernization roadmaps.
Architect scalable Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Cloud Data Platforms, and AI-powered analytics solutions.
Drive initiatives related to data quality, metadata management, data lineage, master data management, and governance.
Lead modernization efforts involving Informatica, Databricks, Netezza, Oracle, and cloud-based ecosystems.
Promote innovation through Agentic AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and next-generation data operations.

Client Engagement & Business Growth

Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and executive stakeholders.
Identify opportunities within Data Modernization, Cloud Migration, AI, Analytics, Data Governance, and Enterprise Data Platforms.
Lead strategic discussions, solution proposals, architecture reviews, and transformation initiatives.
Develop and grow strategic client accounts through successful delivery and business partnership.

Qualifications

15–20+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Engineering, BI/Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, and Delivery Leadership.
Strong architectural and hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, and IICS.
Extensive experience with Oracle, Netezza, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Data Modeling.
Deep understanding of modern cloud-based data platforms including Databricks and Azure.
Experience delivering large-scale data modernization and enterprise transformation programs.
Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage.
Proven experience managing large delivery teams across multiple geographies.
Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline.
