About the role
Senior Java Spring Boot & Microservices Developer – Development Squad
Purpose
Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient microservices, ensuring high-quality engineering standards and driving end-to-end backend architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Own technical solutioning, architecture decisions, and design patterns for scalability and performance
- Lead integration design across systems (APIs, messaging, events, databases)
- Enforce coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization
- Guide and mentor developers; drive code reviews and engineering excellence
- Collaborate with architecture, QA, DevOps, and product teams for end-to-end delivery
- Ensure CI/CD integration, observability, logging, and production stability
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, bottlenecks, and design gaps
Key Skills
- Expert in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Strong experience with REST APIs, event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and integration patterns
- Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and secure coding
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices

- High-quality, scalable, and reusable service design
- Low defect density and strong code maintainability
- API performance and system reliability (SLA adherence)
- On-time delivery with minimal production incidents
- Effective technical leadership and team productivity uplift
