Eternis Fine Chemicals Limited (Eternis) was born of a dream in 1988. In a short span of time, they have become one of the top 10 global aroma chemical manufacturers globally. Today, they are the largest exporter of aroma chemicals in India, with exports constituting 80% of sales. Eternis is a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals from India catering to the global market. Led by Mr. Rajen Mariwala of the Marico promoter family, Eternis is one of the largest aroma chemical makers in India. Over the past two decades, the company has grown over 100 times from just over INR 20 Cr to over INR 2000 Cr, catering to all the major global flavours and fragrance companies with over 80% of its revenue coming from exports. In the early 1900s, Shri Kanji Morarji founded a pepper trading company, earning the family the moniker of Mariwala or pepper sellers. By 1940, "Bombay Oil Industries" was formed. A decade later, the company forayed into coconut oil, setting up a factory in Mumbai establishing the iconic brand, Parachute. In the 1960s, the family entered the oleo chemicals and spice oleoresins market. In the 1990s, Marico Ltd was born, a name that emerged as one of the most successful consumer goods brands in India. This was also the time that Eternis was formed, originally as Hindustan Polyamides & Fibers Limited.
Eternis is a global leader in Aroma & Personal Care aiming for a turnover of 500M USD. They focus not only on organic growth but also on acquisitions. In 2018, Eternis acquired AIMS Impex Pvt. Ltd, the largest manufacturer of coumarin in India. In 2021, they acquired Tennants Fine Chemicals Ltd, enhancing their market presence with manufacturing in the UK. In December 2024, they announced the acquisition of 100% of Sharon Personal Care, diversifying into personal care products. Eternis has four plants in India, a state-of-the-art R&D Centre recognized by the Government of India, and a strengthened international marketing team to ensure customer responsiveness. In 2024, Wilfrid Gambade was appointed as Group CEO to accelerate growth overseas.

• Global Spend Management (Global Procurement),
• New product/material and supplier development
• Understanding of Feedstock (Upstream & Downstream) Value Chain
• Market trend analysis through published reports and networks
• Logistics contracting/management and customs regulations (DGFT / EXIM)
• Budgeting (Planning and monitoring) - Cost and price management
• Identify areas for improvement in planning, inventory management, and
procurement transactions
• Continuous improvements – Internal controls/regulatory audit/CAPA/Derisking
• SAP S4/HANA or R3 working knowledge, SAP – MRP working knowledge
• Develop team skills for managing Procurement transactions
• Implement consolidated strategy for global commodities
• Identify and implement cost savings opportunities
• Eliminate/reduce regional price disadvantages
