Mechanical Lead

Mechanical Lead Experience: 10+ Years Designation: Senior Manager (SM) Location: Davangere, Karnataka CTC: Up to ₹35 LPA Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Lead to lead mechanical engineering activities for renewable energy projects. The role will be responsible for mechanical design, engineering, project execution, vendor coordination, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities • Lead mechanical engineering and design activities for renewable energy projects. • Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and engineering documents. • Manage equipment selection, technical specifications, and engineering calculations. • Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders. • Review vendor drawings, technical offers, BOQs, and engineering deliverables. • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications. • Provide technical support during project execution, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. • Identify engineering risks and provide cost-effective technical solutions. • Lead a team of mechanical engineers and coordinate cross-functional engineering activities. • Support project planning, execution, quality control, and timely delivery of mechanical packages. Mandatory Skills • 10+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably within the Renewable Energy / Power / EPC sector. • Strong experience in mechanical design, engineering, and project execution. • Experience in handling vendors, EPC contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams. • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, engineering standards, drawings, and specifications. • Experience in project engineering, technical review, and commissioning support. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Qualification • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute. • M.E./M.Tech will be an added advantage.
