Automation Engineer – Data Governance

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Automation Engineer – Data Governance with strong expertise in Python, Shell scripting, CI/CD, Jenkins, REST APIs, and data governance . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing automation solutions, improving operational workflows, and supporting data governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting .
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins .
• Develop and integrate solutions using REST APIs .
• Implement data governance practices including access control and data cataloging .
• Identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated jobs and pipelines.
• Document automation processes and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) .
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD automation .
• Working knowledge of REST API integration .
• Experience creating automated jobs and workflows.
• Understanding of data governance, access control, and data cataloging .
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Git/GitHub experience.
• Familiarity with AWS .
• Knowledge of Terraform .
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
