Finance Reporting Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Reporting & Group Consolidation
professional with over 4 years of relevant expertise. You will play a key role
in supporting group financial reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting,
and financial controls in a dynamic UK/London Market insurance environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial results for
the client and its legal entities.

Support the preparation of Group financial statements in accordance with
IFRS, including IFRS 17 and IFRS 9.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information
received from business units and regional finance teams.

Prepare Board, Executive Management, and shareholder reporting packs.

Perform financial analysis and investigate significant variances against
budget, forecast, and prior periods.

Prepare management commentary covering underwriting performance, claims
experience, investment income, and expense movements.

Support the implementation of new accounting standards, regulatory changes,
and Group reporting policies.
Requirements:

Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent professional
qualification.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.

4+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation,
accounting, or financial services.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.

Good experience in reconciliations, variance analysis, financial controls,
and management reporting.

Excellent communication skills and ability to respond to auditor and
stakeholder queries professionally.

Proficient in leveraging technology and analytics tools to improve reporting
accuracy and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in insurance or financial services reporting.

Knowledge of IFRS 17 and insurance accounting principles.

Exposure to IFRS 9, Solvency II, UK statutory/regulatory reporting, or
Lloyd's/London Market reporting.

Experience working with Actuarial teams on reserves and claims liabilities.

Exposure to finance transformation, reporting automation, data analytics, or
process improvement.
