Business Unit Head - Fintech

Your Key Responsibility Areas

·       Develop strategy, thought leadership, and long-term vision for the DFS product unit, positioning it as world-class compared to leading global fintech platforms.

·       Lead modernization of existing DFS platforms into Agentic, SaaS-based, cloud-native digital financial platforms, leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

·        Develop business-aligned DFS product variants across: Digital Wallets & Mobile Money

Payments (retail, merchant, real-time, cross-border) & Credit platforms, Merchant, Partner & Marketplace ecosystems enterprise and B2B DFS use cases

·        Own end-to-end delivery of DFS solutions and services, ensuring scalability, security, regulatory compliance, and customer success.

·        Drive regional and global business growth by extending presales, solutioning, and domain support to market-facing sales teams.

·        Build, scale, and manage high-performing DFS product engineering, delivery, and support teams.

·        Own P&L targets, including revenue growth, margins, and profitability for the DFS product unit.

·        Lead customer management and senior stakeholder engagement across global DFS clients.

Profile Requirement:

·        Overall Experience: 20+ years in Product Engineering, Delivery, or Technology Leadership roles.

·        At least 5+ years of experience working as a Business / Domain Architect in DFS, fintech, payments, or digital banking, and 2+ years of experience in presales / solutioning.

·        Proven experience in senior-level customer engagements across Europe and the USA.

·        Domain Expertise: Strong track record in Digital Financial Solutions platforms, fintech ecosystems, digital banking, digital transformation, or SaaS-based enterprise products.

·        People Management: Experience leading large-scale DFS product engineering and support teams of 500+ FTEs.

·        Demonstrated experience in P&L ownership and DFS business operations management.

Technical Expertise:

·        Strong understanding of enterprise-grade technologies such as Java, Python, C++, Microservices , and cloud-native architectures .

·        Experience with Containers (Docker/Kubernetes ) and scalable DFS platform design.

·        Familiarity with UI/UX frameworks , SaaS transformation, and GenAI-based DFS features (fraud, personalization, automation, analytics).

·         Experience with DevSecOps. , Agile / Scaled Agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA , Jenkins, GitHub, Selenium, and Kubernetes .

·        Geographic Exposure: Experience delivering DFS platforms and solutions across USA, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and APAC .

·        Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA preferred but not mandatory .
