Job Title: Associate Manager - P&C -Stores- (LG- Grade)

JOB PURPOSE
The position at site level is responsible GVIAL Operations P&C requirement, full material accounting of receipts/issues; custody management of assets; maintaining loan issue records, controlling stocks and monitoring with required coordination other departments such as planning, site, accounts and C&C.

Receipt of materials/assets as per PO/WO/Movement orders to site	Receipt of materials/assets as per PO/WO/Movement orders to site

Issuing of materials/assets for consumption/loan as per material/asset request form duly approved by respective site HOD/PM.	Up to date entries into system and maintain outward register

During mobilization/demobilization coordinate all material/asset movements in and out of site with HO MM control including all statutory compliances and transport/loading/unloading activities	Maintain mobilization/demobilization schedule

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details

Manage end‑to‑end procurement for airport projects and operations including airside, landside, terminal fit‑out, MEP, ICT, furniture, and O&M requirements	Cost savings achieved through negotiations and sourcing strategies
Execute sourcing, bid management, vendor onboarding, contracts, and PO issuance using SAP Ariba	Accuracy and compliance in SAP Ariba transactions
Lead techno‑commercial negotiations with vendors to achieve cost optimization while meeting airport quality and safety standards	Vendor on‑time delivery and quality acceptance rate
Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements ,and purchase orders in line with organizational policies and approval matrices.	Timely closure of contract variations and claims
Handle variations, claims, and additional scope items, ensuring timely commercial closure	PR‑to‑PO turnaround time as per defined SLAs
Coordinate closely with the Central Procurement Department for approvals, compliance, and governance	Audit compliance with minimal or zero adverse observations

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
Ensure with judicious monitoring of purchases/consumptions, the site store stock will be almost nil at endof job.
Routinely monitor stock values-excess/nonmoving/slow moving.
Record all assets are intact with respective custody managers and account wear and tear/loss due toaccident/theft.
Ensure all materials/assets with Store custody is safe from any loss

OTHER DIMENSIONS
Construction materials purchase/consumption/stock to extent of Rs 100 crores.
Assets monitoring with value of assets at site up to Rs 30 crores.
Other materials/spares/tools/consumables purchase/consumption/stock up to Rs 5 crores

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate from an accredited college or university. Diploma in Material Management essential for sites handling project budget in excess of Rs 500 crores.
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering preferred

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
7-10 years’ experience in handling P&C and leading a team of 02 staff members including store keepers and associated labor.
2-3 years of experience in handling stores & P&C in Highways/Railway Projects is preferred.
