Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DM/ Manager – Engineering in our Engineering and Design Team for delivering cutting-edge solar power solutions for AMPYR’s European and American platforms. The position involves supporting in Solar PV plant related works. The individual will be expected to support work for projects supported by AMPYR Tech across various countries. The position will be based in Delhi and reports to Senior Manager Engineering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Optimization/Review of PV Plants including Layout, Sizing of cables and Equipment on DC/AC side of plants,
Finalizing the Grid connection architecture in consultation with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs)
Interaction with the OEMs to collect information on latest technologies available and adopt the same for design of more efficient and economical PV plant
Engage with prospective EPC companies and review of construction drawing to freeze the parameters, layout, quality aspects etc. during Pre-bid stage
Review and finalization of SLDs electrical protection schemes, shop drawing and calculations during detailed engineering phase.
Detailed expertise in EYA. Should be able to optimize generation profiles based on LCOE concepts/tilt pitch orientation etc.
Single point of contact of all EYA deliverables during both development and construction projects. Work closely with investment team to provide necessary input.
Experience in managing M&A project to carry out complete Tech DD, risk analysis, and plan for potential mitigation procedures.
Provide support on technical aspects of O&M of the operational plants

EDUCATION

B.Tech. (Electrical)

EXPERIENCE

Between 8-10 years of relevant work experience in renewables / sustainable energy sector.
The candidate shall have the experience in working with the design team of consultancy firm or an EPC companies involved with Ground Mounted Grid Connected Solar PV plant.
Shall be confident of independently handling all the design related issues.

SKILLS

Understanding of the norms & practices in renewable power sector preferably in developed countries/regions e.g. EU, AUS, USA
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capability.
Good communication skills – written, oral and presentation.
