Guidewire Testing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire QA Engineer with 3–8 years of
hands-on experience in testing Guidewire applications, particularly
PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter, within the Insurance and Health Services
domains. The ideal candidate should have strong automation, API testing,
Guidewire domain knowledge, and experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute testing activities across Guidewire PolicyCenter,
ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and ContactCenter.

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium,
Playwright, and other industry-standard tools.

Create detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts based on
functional and technical requirements.

Perform and automate functional, regression, end-to-end, and API testing
using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, and UFT.

Analyze complex business, functional, and technical requirements to identify
gaps and recommend improvements.

Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with
development teams for resolution.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure
DevOps.

Validate data flow and integration points between Guidewire modules and
external systems.

Manage defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.

Assess application changes and define appropriate regression test suites.

Monitor testing metrics and continuously improve automation frameworks,
processes, and QA best practices.

Provide SME-level guidance on Guidewire testing, automation, and test
strategies.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to documentation and
knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements:
-
3–8 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter testing.

Strong knowledge of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and
ContactCenter.

Strong understanding of Insurance and Health Services concepts.

Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and security testing.

Strong automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Page Object
Model (POM).

API testing experience using SOAP UI and Postman with knowledge of REST and
SOAP protocols.

Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, and/or Bugzilla.

Ability to create and maintain test data and understand application
architecture and data flow.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration, especially Azure
DevOps.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of Guidewire-specific automation frameworks and practices.

Ability to analyze testing metrics and optimize QA strategies.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Guidewire certification, such as Guidewire Certified QA Analyst, is a plus.

Insurance/Health Services certifications such as CII or LOMA are
advantageous.
