ServiceNow Test Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Test Engineer with hands-on experience in
testing ServiceNow applications and modules. The ideal candidate should have
expertise in both manual and automation testing, playing a critical role in
ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow implementations through
comprehensive testing strategies and collaborative cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for
ServiceNow applications.

Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End Testing.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow Automated Test
Framework (ATF), Selenium, or similar automation tools.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to
understand requirements and validate business processes.

Execute test cases, analyze test results, and report defects using defect
management tools.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and
quality aspects.

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous
testing.
- Maintain test environments, test data, and testing documentation.
- Prepare test execution reports, metrics, and quality dashboards.
- Support UAT activities and production validation when required.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, methodologies,
and processes.
Requirements:

3–8 years of experience in Software Testing with ServiceNow applications.

Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Testing across modules such as ITSM,
Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog,
CMDB, Asset Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Strong understanding of both Manual and Automation Testing concepts.

Proficiency in Selenium, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar automation
technologies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Defect Lifecycle, and Testing Methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

Experience in ServiceNow upgrades, integrations, and custom applications.
- ISTQB Certification will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of API Testing and ServiceNow integrations.
