Sub Skills: Experience in Guidewire Configuration and Integration.
Experience preferred:
- 10+ years of guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.
- Own end-to-end architecture for Guidewire implementations (PC/BC/CC).
- Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.
- Define the technical architecture, roadmap and design for Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployments, aligning with the client's enterprise architecture standards.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within Guidewire and integrated systems.
- Develop architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and strategies for Guidewire ClaimCenter that support long-term business goals and evolving technology landscapes.
- Strong experience with Guidewire Cloud, Edge APIs, GOSU programming.
- Evaluate new Guidewire features, modules, and industry trends (e.g., AI/ML integration, microservices, cloud-native patterns) to recommend strategic adoption.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
- Provide architectural leadership on large-scale Guidewire projects including greenfield implementations and cloud migrations.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior management, business stakeholders, and project teams, articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
- Expertise in web services (REST/SOAP), data modeling, microservices.
- Responsible for technical solutioning, understanding the nuances of the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform to best address business requirements.
- Define non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery for ClaimCenter and ensure designs meet these requirements.
- Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to development teams (senior developers, developers, and integrators)
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality, maintainability, and performance of the codebase.
Additional responsibilities
- Collaborate with BAs, PMs, QA, and other developers to understand requirements, plan deliverables, and deliver robust solutions.
- Effectively engage in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
- Lead the estimation and prioritization of sprint backlog items, ensuring alignment with project goals and efficient resource utilization.
- Monitoring the Guidewire coding standards and guidelines and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design
- specifications, integration guides, and deployment procedures.
