Job Summary:
We are looking for a R2R Team Lead with 12-15 years of general accounting experience to join our dynamic finance team. This role will focus on balance sheet reconciliation, automate manual accounts, and drive efficiency while working collaboratively with our onshore teams, ultimately contributing to the financial integrity and reporting excellence of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute balance sheet reconciliation projects, ensuring timely clearances of open items.
- Automate manual accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee and contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate journal entries and financial reports.
- Conduct detailed cash and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain data integrity across financial systems.
- Utilize ERP systems, such as Oracle, to manage general ledger functions effectively.
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze and question established processes, driving continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present financial information using Excel and PowerPoint to stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
- Semi-qualified accountant or commerce graduate with 12-15 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficient in cash and balance sheet reconciliation, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with general ledger modules in Oracle or similar ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software tools.
- Self-disciplined, results-oriented individual with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, alongside onshore stakeholders.
