BI Platform Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced BI Platform Analyst with 8–10 years of expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, advanced SQL skills, and a deep understanding of data modelling. This role requires the ability to convert complex datasets into meaningful visual insights while ensuring governance, metadata management, and reporting controls are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Develop and maintain robust data models to support reporting and analytics needs
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across BI platforms
• Implement and manage data governance, metadata standards, and reporting controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions
• Monitor and optimize BI platform performance and usability

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboards, DAX, data modeling)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, etc.)
• Experience in data governance, metadata management, and reporting controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large-scale data environments
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI platforms is a plus
