About the role
Position - Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud: Data Management & Modeling - Data Stream, Data Lake Object, Data Model, Identity & Segmentation, Calculated Insights.
- Basic Understanding of Administration of Salesforce Data Cloud: Managing user roles, permissions, External System Integration.
- Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS concepts: Real project experience of writing SQL queries from scratch with a good understanding of RDBMS concepts to optimize queries as per requirements.
- Strong in Data concepts for profiling and data object schema design (data modeling).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with CRM and External Teams to design solutions and integrate Data Cloud with enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Einstein and Agentforce related to Data Cloud.
- Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to trace data issues end-to-end.
Nice to Have:
- Work with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) data extensions, automations, data views, and Contact/Subscriber model.
- Understand the data flow between source systems to build/optimize data pipelines in SFMC.
- Some programming language skills like Python and experience in building/optimizing data pipelines.
- Marketing Domain B2B knowledge and support campaign teams with data preparation, segmentation logic, and audience readiness.
- Nice to have experience in Journey Builder.
- Working knowledge of AMPscript/SSJS.
