EHS (Site Safety Lead – Wind & Solar Projects)

Job Purpose:

To lead and implement end-to-end EHS and site safety management for Wind and Solar renewable energy projects, ensuring zero harm, statutory compliance, and a strong safety culture across project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Site Safety Lead for Wind and Solar project execution sites in Gujarat.
• Drive implementation of EHS policies, systems, and procedures at site.
• Oversee safety during civil, electrical, mechanical, erection, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure safety compliance during high-risk activities such as heavy lifting, turbine erection, working at height, hot works, and electrical energization.
• Monitor and enforce safety compliance of EPC contractors, OEMs, and subcontractors.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and site walkthroughs
• Ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws, Factory Act, Electricity Act, and local statutory requirements.
• Liaise with government authorities during inspections and audits.
• Conduct regular safety training, mock drills, and emergency response exercises.
• Lead investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts.
