Cash Cycle Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Cash Cycle Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing finance
operations, focusing on cash application and receivables management. This
position is integral to ensuring a smooth cash flow process, enhancing
operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize cash application processes, ensuring timely and accurate
allocation of cash to accounts receivable.

Oversee accounts receivable operations, including collections and
reconciliations, to enhance cash flow and reduce aging receivables.

Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and
adhere to financial controls.

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate
operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Facilitate process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for
improvement and implementing solutions.

Handle issues and exceptions proactively, providing resolutions to minimize
disruptions in cash cycle operations.

Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, contributing to their
professional development and growth.
Requirements:

6-12 years of experience in Cash Cycle or Finance Operations, with a proven
track record in one or more key areas: Cash Application, Accounts
Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, or Carrier Disbursements.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls.

Demonstrated experience in managing reconciliations and understanding KPI
operational metrics.

Proficiency in process improvement methodologies and experience with issue
and exception handling.

Prior leadership experience in roles such as Team Lead, Senior Specialist,
or Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Experience in workflow allocation and workload management within a finance
operations environment.

Ability to monitor performance effectively and provide constructive feedback
to team members.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Insurance or Commercial Risk sectors, or within Financial
Services.

Prior experience in Shared Services or Global Capability Centers (GCC).

Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process
improvement efforts.
