Key Responsibilities
Data Privacy: 60%

Assist in DPDPA implementation, including data mapping, consent management,
DPIA processes, and breach response protocols
- Reviewing data protection impact assessments

Advise on all aspects of privacy-related due diligence (onboarding, ongoing
monitoring, and offboarding) of 3rd parties

Assist the business to manage privacy risk and maintain appropriate controls

Draft privacy notices and, where appropriate, consent wordings for
processing activities

Support with Data Principal rights requests, ensuring these are handled
within required timeframes

Where applicable, assist with investigating, responding to, and managing
other complaints or communications relating to data protection and privacy
-
Monitor the legal and regulatory horizon and keep up to date with
legislative or other changes and case law relating to privacy and data
protection. Advise on the impact of any changes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, sales) to integrate
DPDPA requirements into policies, training programs, and insurance product
launches
- Conduct in-house training and awareness relating to privacy
Contract Management: 40%

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, brokers, and
partners, incorporating indemnity, confidentiality, arbitration, and
anti-corruption & bribery clauses compliant with IRDAI and DPDPA
- Maintain contract repositories, track renewals/terminations

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract terms and conditions with
clients, vendors, and other stakeholders

Ensuring contracts are properly executed and implemented, managing
deadlines, and tracking contract performance

Assist in managing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial request to
completion or renewal

Analyzing contracts to identify areas for improvement, cost savings, and
risk reduction

Ensuring all contract documentation is organized, accurate, and easily
accessible

Ensuring contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and
industry regulations
