Job Summary
This role will support the planning and execution of grid connectivity and
integration of renewable energy projects under the Inter-State Transmission
System (ISTS). The candidate will work closely with internal teams and
external stakeholders to facilitate regulatory approvals, connectivity
applications, and ensure compliance with CERC and related regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Grid Connectivity & Coordination

Assist in processing ISTS connectivity, GNA/CTU applications, and related
procedures with CTUIL, PGCIL, Grid-India, and CEA

Coordinate with internal project teams and external agencies for smooth
evacuation planning of renewable energy projects

Track progress of connectivity approvals, bay allocations, and transmission
system development
Regulatory Compliance & Support

Support compliance with CERC regulations, Grid Code, and connectivity
procedures

Track regulatory developments (CERC orders, amendments, consultation papers)
-
Help in stakeholder engagement initiatives with regulators, CTUIL, and
industry forums
Project & Risk Support

Identify and highlight potential risks in connectivity timelines, grid
readiness, or approvals

Assist in resolving issues related to connectivity, GNA, and transmission
constraints
Reporting & Documentation

Prepare internal reports, trackers, and dashboards on connectivity status
and approvals

Maintain database of project connectivity details and regulatory
interactions
Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Systems / Renewable
Energy
-
0–3 years of experience (freshers with relevant internships can also apply)

Basic understanding of power transmission, grid connectivity, and renewable
energy sector

Familiarity with CERC regulations, Grid Code, ISTS connectivity (preferred
but not mandatory)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills

Exposure to regulatory processes, policy analysis, or power market
mechanisms

Basic exposure to power system studies and tools like PSS®E, ETAP, or
PowerWorld

Understanding of load flow studies and grid connectivity assessments for
renewable energy projects

Ability to review and interpret consultant study reports at a high level
(desirable, not mandatory)
