1. ROLE PURPOSE
(Briefly describe the general purpose of the position or its significance from
the organisation's point of view and how it contributes to the overall
mission/objective of the organization).
To support the HR function at site by driving end-to-end recruitment, managing employee life-cycle processes, ensuring statutory and health compliance for workmen, monitoring attendance systems, and enabling positive employee engagement in the operational environment of a coal-based thermal power plant.

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
(List the responsibilities/duties associated with the job. For each

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
Talent Acquisition &
Recruitment Manage end-to-end
recruitment for staff, executives, and workmen categories.
Source and screen CVs from job portals, consultants,
referrals, campus pools, and internal databases.
Coordinate interviews, technical assessments, and
selection processes with functional heads.
Ensure issuance of offer letters, joining
formalities, and induction for new employees.
Maintain recruitment dashboards, trackers, and MIS
reports.
Workforce Administration & Attendance
Management Manage and monitor
the attendance system (biometric/swipe).
Track leave records, shift schedules, overtime, and
absenteeism.
Resolve attendance-related issues and coordinate with
payroll for accurate processing.
Ensure proper documentation of workmen records,
labour contractor details, and deployment sheets.
Workmen Health & Statutory Compliance (HR
Support) Coordinate periodic
health check-ups for workmen as per Factory Act norms.
Liaise with Occupational Health Centre (OHC) /
Medical teams for health awareness initiatives.
Maintain health records, fitness certificates, and
compliance-related documentation.
Support statutory audits related to HR, medical, and
workmen welfare.
Employee Welfare &
Engagement Support planning
and execution of employee engagement activities such as festivals, sports,
awareness programs, and welfare initiatives.
Conduct regular interaction with employees and
workmen to understand issues and escalate/resolve appropriately.
Foster a positive workplace and strengthen team
culture.
HR Operations &
Documentation Maintain
employee personnel files, records, and HRIS data accuracy.
Assist in performance management processes (goal
setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals).
Support training coordination and skill development
programs for employees and workmen.
Prepare periodic HR reports, dashboards, and
compliance documents for management review.
Coordination & Site HR
Support Act as an HR interface
for plant operations, maintenance, and support functions.
Coordinate with Corporate HR for policies, SOPs,
guidelines, and HR initiatives.
Handle employee grievance redressal and ensure timely
resolution.
4. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

incumbent).
Educational Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Qualification: MBA / PGDM in HR Management or equivalent.
Key Competencies:
Strong recruitment and sourcing capability.
Knowledge of labour laws (Factory Act, CLRA, Payment of Wages, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS, and attendance systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a plant environment with multi-level workforce.
Strong coordination, planning, and documentation skills.
Relevant and total years of Experience:
Experience of 5–8 years in HR operations, preferably in manufacturing/thermal
power plant/industrial setup.
Experience in handling workmen management will be an added advantage.
