About the role

Position: Head - Technical / Process Engineer
Reporting To: CEO Location: NCR / Lucknow(Plant)

Purpose of the Role
To lead the technical, engineering, operations, maintenance, commissioning, and process optimization functions of the Agri Biomass-based CBG Plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while maximizing production and plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities
• Drive overall technical and operational performance of the CBG plant.
• Oversee feedstock handling, anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, compression, storage, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure optimal plant efficiency, methane recovery, and CBG production.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximize plant availability.
• Support commissioning, stabilization, debottlenecking, and future plant expansion projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Liaise with technology providers, OEMs, consultants, and contractors.
• Lead and develop the technical and operations team.
• Implement continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

Educational Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering/Energy Management will be preferred.

Experience
• Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of industrial experience.
• Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Agri Biomass-based CBG/Bio-CNG/Biomethane projects.
• Proven experience in plant commissioning, operations, maintenance, and process optimization.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary technical teams in process industries.

Preferred Industry Background
CBG, Bio-CNG, Biogas, Biomethane, Biofuels, Ethanol, Distillery, Waste-to-Energy, Renewable Energy, or similar process industries.
