The Opportunity
As Senior Fund Accountant and Business Analyst (Client Facing), your primary
responsibility will be working directly with the operations team to support
the settlement lifecycle, fund administration oversight, and help streamline
fund operations workflows. You’ll learn what it means to delight clients,

Key Responsibilities
1. Fund Accounting & Operations Oversight

Manage end-to-end fund accounting oversight across Private Equity, Private
Credit, Hedge Funds, and Fund of Funds

Review and oversee NAV calculations, capital calls & distributions,
financial statements, and investor reporting
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables

Review complex transactions including carried interest, equalization, FX,
and multi-currency structures
- Support and oversee trade lifecycle and settlement processes
2. Client Engagement & Leadership
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders

Lead client calls, present insights, and resolve complex accounting and
operational issues

Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand scope
of work

Lead internal meetings (scrums, delivery reviews) to ensure excellence in
execution
- Mentor, review, and guide junior team members
3. Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify inefficiencies and design scalable, automated workflows

Drive implementation of tools for data extraction, fund admin oversight, and
workflow management

Collaborate with technology teams to translate operational challenges into
automation solutions
- Continuously challenge and improve existing operating procedures
4. Product Development & Innovation
-
Partner with product and engineering teams to define requirements for fund
accounting platforms
- Test and validate new features and workflows

Contribute domain expertise to build next-generation investment operations
tools
- Support development of AI-driven and automation-led solutions
5. Data, Analytics & Insights
- Analyse fund and operational data to generate actionable insights

Build dashboards and reporting frameworks (KPIs, risk indicators, trends)

Enable better transparency and decision-making for clients and stakeholders
6. Project & Delivery Management

Lead client engagements and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment

Identify critical initiatives, propose solutions, and drive execution
end-to-end
- Ensure strong risk management, governance, and delivery standards

Use data-driven approaches to monitor performance and resolve issues
proactively
Required Qualifications
- CA / CPA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
-
5–8+ years of experience in fund accounting and/or investment operations
(PE/VC, Hedge Funds, Private Credit, Real Estate)

Strong understanding of fund structures, lifecycle, capital activity, and
financial reporting
- Experience with platforms such as eFront, Investran, Geneva, Allvue
-
Exposure to automation and analytics tools (Python, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx,
RPA)

Familiarity with buy-side investment management process and systems,
lifecycle, and associated workflows; experience deploying and implementing
financial systems

Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, with the ability to
convey concepts clearly and simply
- Experience in system implementations, transitions, or migrations

Experience in cloud-based computing solutions and automation tools and
methodologies demonstrating problem-solving prowess and a proactive mindset
