POSITION DETAILS
Role Summary/Purpose
The Deputy Training Manager supports the Training Manager in ensuring the
effective planning, delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement of
all approved training activities. The role ensures regulatory compliance,
instructional quality, staff competence, and trainee performance, and acts
on behalf of the Training Manager during authorized absence, as defined in
the MTOE.

Maintain 100% compliance with EASA Part 147 & DGCA CAR 147 in
internal and external audits annually.

Support the Training Manager in maintaining full compliance with
EASA Part 147/ DGCA CAR 147 (Basic) requirements.

Close all audit findings within 30 days of receiving the report.

Ensure zero delays in MTOE updates and regulatory notifications
(100% submissions within required timelines).

Ensure training delivery aligns with the approved MTOE, manuals,
and course syllabi, training durations, and regulatory
approvals.

Publish monthly training schedules at least 10 days in advance
with 100% resource allocation.

Achieve 95% on-time delivery of theoretical and practical
training modules.

Maintain minimum 90% trainee attendance per batch through
proactive monitoring.

Ensure zero cancellations due to internal planning lapses
(instructor/classroom/equipment availability).
-
Achieve 90%+ trainee satisfaction scores in quarterly feedback
reports.

Maintain 100% validity of instructor authorizations and
competency records.

Conduct bi-annual instructor performance reviews and complete
improvement plans within 30 days.

Ensure 100% completion of recurrent training and technical
updates for all instructors and examiners.

Assist in mentoring and guiding instructors and support staff.

Ensure zero exam integrity violations and 100% adherence to
examination procedures.
- Publish exam results within 72 hours of exam completion.

Achieve ≥85% module-wise pass rate (excluding repeaters;
realistic for aviation technical training).

Ensure training, examination, and assessment records are
accurate, complete, traceable, and secure.

Ensure zero overdue document revisions and 100% compliance with
document control procedures.

Upload/update records in the system within 48 hours of
training/examination completion.

Act as Training Manager, as authorized in the MTOE, during the
Training Manager’s absence.

Submit weekly operational updates to the Training
Manager/Accountable Manager during acting periods.

Address critical compliance issues within 24 hours of
identification.

Development Manager.
Dimensions

facility requirements.

Assist in optimizing resource utilization and cost control in training
operations.

Support compliance with EASA/DGCA - 147 & 66 Training Process
Requirements.

Assist in managing number of instructors/examiners, training batches,
and students, and training equipment, tools, and facility resources.
Background, Skills and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:
AME (B1 / B2), B.Tech / BE in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical /
Electronics / Avionics Engineering.

Relevant Industry/Sector Experience:
Minimum 12 years of aviation maintenance / training experience; prior
experience in EASA Part 147/ CAR 147 (Basic) approved training
organization preferred; teaching, instructional, or training management
exposure is desirable.
Technical Competencies:
Strong knowledge of EASA Part 147/ DGCA CAR 147 & CAR 66; familiarity with
MTOE structure and regulatory audits; leadership, coordination, and
communication skills; ability to manage multiple training streams and
stakeholders.
