P&A Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business/Performance & Attribution
Analyst with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal
candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our Performance &
Attribution (P&A) processes, leveraging expertise in Aladdin and/or
FactSet to ensure data integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute UAT, system testing, and parallel runs between Aladdin and legacy
systems to validate improvements and functionality.

Perform daily reconciliations of positions, trades, pricing, FX, and
benchmarks to ensure alignment and accuracy across data systems.

Investigate and resolve data breaks by conducting thorough root cause
analysis to prevent future discrepancies.

Document defects, track fixes, and provide retesting support to uphold
quality assurance standards.

Validate P&A outputs including returns, contributions, and benchmarks to
ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Work closely with onshore teams to triage issues and develop comprehensive
reporting mechanisms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business
requirements, identify pain points, and propose effective solutions.

Perform testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and
user acceptance testing, ensuring quality and functionality of software
solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document pricing strategies,
FX calculations, market data requirements, and derivatives instruments.

Participate in defect analysis and resolution, partnering with development
teams to identify and implement solutions for technical challenges.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analysis, Computer Science or
a related field.

3-8 years of hands-on experience with Performance & Attribution
(P&A) methodologies.

Strong user-level knowledge of Aladdin and/or FactSet with practical
experience in financial systems.

Proven expertise in testing methodologies including UAT, integrated testing,
and parallel runs.

Solid understanding of pricing, FX markets, market data, performance
calculation logic, and derivatives.

Exceptional analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset and attention
to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience with both Aladdin and FactSet is highly desirable.

Proficiency in SQL or other data manipulation languages to enhance data
analysis capabilities.

Interest in financial markets and a good grasp of investment strategies.

Previous experience in a similar role within a financial services
environment.
