Role:
To lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new business
opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Electronics, and emerging
technology domains, including techno-commercial feasibility, technology
partnerships, vendor ecosystem development, and project
conceptualization, leading to viable business initiatives aligned with the
organization’s long-term strategic objectives.
1. Strategic Opportunity Identification
• Identify and evaluate emerging business opportunities in AI,
embedded systems, electronics manufacturing, automation,
robotics, and digital technologies.
• Monitor global and domestic technology trends to identify high-
potential technology-driven business models.
• Conduct market scanning and strategic assessments to identify
potential investment opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Develop a technology roadmap aligned with the company’s growth
strategy.
2. Techno-Commercial Evaluation
• Conduct detailed techno-commercial feasibility assessments for
proposed projects including:
o Technology readiness
o Capital investment requirements
o Commercial viability
o Market potential
o Competitive landscape
• Develop financial models, business cases, and project viability
analysis including IRR, payback, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and present project evaluation reports to senior
management and the Board.
3. Project Conceptualization and Development
• Lead the conceptualization of new technology-driven projects,
including:
o AI solutions
o Electronics manufacturing initiatives
o Smart automation systems
o IoT-enabled products • Prepare project blueprints including technology architecture,
implementation strategy, and commercialization roadmap.
4. Regulatory and Policy Assessment
• Monitor government policies, technology regulations, and
incentive schemes relevant to AI, electronics manufacturing, and
digital technologies.
• Leverage government programs such as PLI schemes,
technology incubation programs, and R&D grants.
5. Technology Partnerships & Alliances
• Identify and establish technology partnerships, licensing
agreements, and strategic collaborations with global technology
providers, research institutions, and startups.
• Engage with technology innovators, AI developers, semiconductor
companies, and system integrators.
• Negotiate technology transfer agreements, joint ventures, and
strategic alliances.
4. Vendor Ecosystem Development
• Identify and onboard technology vendors, electronics
manufacturers, solution providers, and system integrators.
• Develop a robust vendor and supplier ecosystem to support project
development.
• Conduct technical due diligence and vendor capability
assessments.

6. Market and Business Development
• Conduct market opportunity analysis for AI and electronics
applications across industries such as:
o Energy
o Infrastructure
o Industrial automation
o Smart cities
o Defense
o Mobility
• Identify target customers, strategic markets, and
commercialization pathways.

• Monitor government policies, technology regulations, and incentive schemes relevant to AI, electronics manufacturing, and digital technologies. • Leverage government programs such as PLI schemes, technology incubation programs, and R&D grants. 8. Cross-Functional Coordination • Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth project development. • Work closely with R&D and technology teams to validate technology feasibility. • Ensure alignment between technology strategy and business objectives. 9. Risk Assessment and Mitigation • Identify technical, financial, regulatory, and operational risks associated with proposed projects. • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. • Conduct technology risk assessments and scalability evaluations. 10. Investment and Capital Planning • Develop investment proposals and capital deployment strategies. • Support leadership in strategic investment decisions in technology-driven businesses. • Evaluate potential acquisitions or equity investments in technology companies or startups. 11. Stakeholder Engagement • Engage with: o Technology companies o Research institutions o Startup ecosystems o Government bodies o Industry associations Represent the company in technology forums, industry conferences, and innovation platforms. |

Education and Experience requirements |
Essential • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Desirable • MBA in Strategy / Technology Management / Finance / Business Development Professional Experience Total Experience • 12 – 20 years of experience in technology-driven industries Relevant Experience • Experience in AI / electronics / embedded systems / automation / semiconductor / technology product development • Demonstrated experience in techno-commercial evaluation of technology projects • Exposure to technology partnerships, licensing, or joint ventures • Experience in technology-led business development or project incubation Industry Exposure (Preferred) • Electronics manufacturing • AI / machine learning applications • Semiconductor ecosystem • Robotics and embedded systems Core Functional Expertise Technology Evaluation • Strong ability to evaluate emerging technologies and technology readiness • Ability to understand AI algorithms, electronics systems architecture, and product platforms |
