📌 Job Description – M&A Associate

Firm: Aekom Legal Location: Lajpat Nagar, Delhi Work Mode: 5 days, Work from Office

Role Overview: We are seeking Associates with prior Merger & Acquisition (M&A) experience in law firms to join our corporate practice. The role involves end‑to‑end deal execution, including due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance for complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare compliance checklists.
• Draft and review transaction documents (share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, merger schemes).
• Support negotiations and coordinate with clients, regulators, and counterparties.
• Handle regulatory filings and approvals under Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and CCI.
• Collaborate with senior associates and partners on deal structuring and execution.

Eligibility:

• Mandatory prior experience in M&A practice at law firms (in‑house profiles not considered).
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Experience range: 1–3 years (Junior Associate) and 4–6 years (Mid‑Level Associate) .
