Actuarial Consultant – General Insurance
General Insurance Consulting Practice | India/Mumbai
In an era defined by regulatory transformation, IFRS 17 implementation, capital optimization, and data-led underwriting, insurers are rethinking their operating and financial models.
We are expanding our General Insurance Team and are looking for an experienced Actuarial Student / Actuary (7–10 years’ experience) who combines technical depth with consulting mindset and client credibility.
This is not a routine actuarial role. This is a platform to advise, influence, and lead.
The Opportunity
As part of our consulting practice, you will work with insurers, reinsurers, and international clients across strategic, financial, and regulatory engagements. You will be expected to deliver technically robust solutions while contributing to client relationship management and thought leadership.
You will operate at the intersection of:

Financial reporting transformation (IFRS 17)
•
Reserving and capital optimization
•
Underwriting sophistication and portfolio strategy
•
Risk management and regulatory advisory
•
Data-driven actuarial innovation
What We Are Looking For
•
6–10 years of experience in General Insurance actuarial roles
•
Minimum 5-7 actuarial examinations cleared (IAI / IFoA or equivalent)
•
Strong exposure to reserving, regulatory reporting, or IFRS 17/underwriting
•
Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end assignments
•
High analytical rigour and commercial awareness
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
