Electrical Team Member – Solar
Job Summary:
The Electrical Team Member – Solar plays a crucial role in the execution and
management of solar energy projects. With a focus on site execution and
electrical engineering expertise, this position is integral to delivering
high-quality solar installations that meet safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the
timely execution of solar projects.

Oversee electrical installations, including 120kV+ systems, substations, and
transmission lines.

Perform site assessments and develop comprehensive electrical designs that
adhere to local regulations and safety standards.

Manage site execution activities, optimizing workflows to meet project
timelines and budget constraints.

Inspect electrical work to ensure compliance with specifications, conduct
tests, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Provide training and guidance to junior electrical engineers and team
members on site-specific best practices.

Document project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to
stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

10-15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in solar or
renewable energy projects.
- Extensive knowledge of 120kV+ electrical systems and components.

Proficient in AC/DC systems, substations, and transmission line
installations.

Strong project management skills and the ability to work under tight
deadlines in an execution-heavy environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
