Manager / AGM / GM – Project & Strategic Finance (Energy)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic thinker to join our team as a Manager/AGM/GM of Project & Strategic Finance within the Energy sector. This role is pivotal in driving end-to-end project financing, fundraising, and financial structuring, ensuring the successful delivery of our energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the fundraising efforts of ₹500 Cr+ per project , ensuring efficient capital mobilization.
• Arrange debt financing from banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and other financial institutions, driving financial closure of projects.
• Build and review project finance models, participating in cost-benefit analysis and investment evaluations.
• Support structuring of financing solutions, preparing information memorandums, term sheets, and credit notes.
• Liaise with banks, credit rating agencies, and legal advisors to maintain strong lender relationships and coordination for approvals.
• Assist in strategic financial planning for energy and infrastructure projects to enhance capital structure and liquidity.
• Coordinate external credit rating processes to ensure compliance and monitoring of existing facilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; CA or MBA in Finance is mandatory.
• 8–18 years of experience in project finance, debt syndication, and financial modeling .
• Strong expertise in infrastructure/energy financing, with proficiency in project finance modeling.
• Excellent credit appraisal, financial analysis, and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial tools for documentation and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Strong communication, negotiation skills, and an ownership mindset.
