Lead Test Engineer – Big Data Testing
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Test Engineer with over 8 years of
expertise in Big Data Testing, ETL, Data Warehouse, and SQL. This pivotal role
involves defining test strategies, leading testing initiatives, managing
defects, and overseeing quality metrics, all while closely collaborating with
development teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with
project requirements.

Analyze business and technical requirements to establish testing scope,
effort, resources, timelines, and risks.

Lead testing activities across Big Data, ETL, Data Warehouse, and system
testing projects.

Plan and execute testing in both batch and real-time data processing
environments.

Mentor the testing team, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of
projects.

Review test cases, documentation, and quality assurance artifacts for
accuracy and completeness.

Identify, track, prioritize, and report bugs/defects while conducting
root-cause analysis.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software/Data Testing.

Strong hands-on experience in Big Data Testing, including ETL and Data
Warehouse testing.
- Proficient in SQL with a solid understanding of database management.
- Experience in Bug/Defect Reporting and Management is essential.

Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with Python for data
analysis and validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in test strategy creation and test planning methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PySpark or Spark SQL for data processing.
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
