1. JOB PURPOSE
Lead the Aviation Security at GVIAL with responsibility for development,
implementation and management of security vision, strategy and programs,
ensure effective implementation of security processes and procedures as per
the guidelines of the regulatory authorities and work in close coordination
with CISF, BCAS and local police in order to reduce risks and limit exposure
to liability and to efficiently meet the road connectivity requirement of
airport.

Produce threat assessment and evolve counter strategies to mitigate its
effects.

Ensure security equipment and electronic gadgetries are in compliance to

operator is in accordance to the regulatory authority requirements and to
constant standards.

Ensure manuals/SOP related to aviation security is prepared and got approved
by the competent authority are constantly upgraded.

Approved ASP in place, Approved BTCP, CTCP and their implementation

Ensure the role of the airport operator relating to airport security is
properly implemented – like holding half yearly Aerodorme Committee meeting,
monthly APSC, Special APSC meetings when required; holding of Anti-Hijacking
mock exercises etc.

Conduct of meetings as per schedule and compliances to observations made

Review of communications facilities in Anti-Hijacking control room and
upgrade.

Coordinate / liaise during the visit of foreign security teams.

To carry out functions as mentioned in the National Civil Aviation Security
Program and the Airport Security Program.

Plan, organize and manage high standards of preparedness to discharge the
responsibility assigned as per the Contingency Plan to respond to any kind
of threat (external or internal) at RGIA in consonance with ICAO, DGCA and
BCAS regulations.

All GVIAL Departments viz., HR, Finance & Accounts, BD, Commercial, ARFF,
TOPS, Customer Facilities, Admin, Airport Operations Control Center.

6. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications
Graduate/Post graduate from an Institute / University recognized by UGC /
AICTE.
Relevant and total years of Experience
-
A minimum of 15 to 18 years of experience of working in a large
government/business organization or handling a large team of security
personnel at an Airport.
